The program will explores media censorship, propaganda, and rights and responsibilities in our Democracy. Drawing on the historical setting of Old Parliament House students will be hooked by the dramatic events surrounding such a significant event in Australian political history. Through these interactive workshop sessions, teachers are able to explore current resources, share ideas and connect with our Learning Team to enhance classroom practice. The aim of this group is to create an online space for educators to virtually connect with each other, to discuss and share ideas, or resources linked to civics education in the Australian context. Our hope is for this group to become an online community that covers a vast range of topics, curriculum areas, primary, secondary and tertiary learning based on Civics and Citizenship.
