NATE Unveils Safety & Health Manual Online Resource Library

Access to Library Becomes a Top NATE Member Benefit; Contains 56 Chapters Designed to Enhance Company Safety Culture

(Watertown, SD.) - NATE: The Communications Infrastructure Contractors Association today unveiled the NATE Safety & Health Manual Online Resource Library, a new top benefit available to member companies.

The NATE Safety & Health Manual Online Resource Library was designed specifically for the communications infrastructure industry and is intended to serve as a resource for members to utilize when developing their own company safety programs. The professionally written safety manual contains 56 chapters focused on core subjects that contractor service companies need in order to drive a culture of safety within their respective firms and proactively jump-start their internal OSHA and third party onboarding compliance processes.

All 56 chapters of the NATE Safety & Health Manual Online Resource Library are available to download in a Microsoft Word format and are designed to be fully customizable for companies to include in their manuals to ensure the safety, growth and development of employees. Revisions and updates will be made to this comprehensive resource as additional procedures and practices are adopted by the Association’s membership.

“This comprehensive resource library is one of the most significant member benefits the Association has provided to our membership during my 9 ½ year tenure with NATE,” said President & CEO Todd Schlekeway. “Through the development and launch of this manual, NATE is staying true to our organization’s safety mission and providing tangible value to our member companies.”

The NATE Safety & Health Manual Online Resource Library is available and accessible as a free resource to member companies. To access the resource, member companies should visit the following link HERE and enter their member ID code to log in. Once logged in, on the right-hand side click on the plus (+) sign next to “Safety Resource”, then click on the Safety & Health Manual to view each individual chapter.

Women of NATE (WON) Announces 2022 Education Scholarship

Women of NATE (WON) is proud to announce their 2022 Education Scholarship. The scholarship was designed to encourage and inspire more women to enter the tower and communications infrastructure construction, service and maintenance industry.

Women play a prominent role as leaders and visionaries in the advancement of wireless and broadcast communications. Through the establishment of the WON initiative, the Association is proud to recognize the vital contributions of women in the diverse tower and communications infrastructure industry. Two scholarships valued at $1,000 each will be awarded to two different applicants.

Women of NATE Chairwoman Andy Page Lee of Lee Antenna & Line Service, Inc. stated, “Women of NATE (WON) is proud to offer all women a platform to help further their educational and professional goals. We continue to support these future leaders as their contributions are critical to our industry’s success."

Application documents must be received in the NATE office by January 20, 2022. In addition to the one-page application form, applicants must provide an essay describing how the WON Education Scholarship will help them achieve their goals, a high school transcript, a letter of acceptance from the college or technical school applicant will be or is attending, and a letter of nomination from a current NATE member company.

Safe Driving: Are Your Personal Assets Exposed?

This session will cover the importance of safe driving and truly establishing a safe driving culture. Participants will have an understanding of why insurance rates continue to rise and steps to take to be proactive in keeping your auto rates from rising. Negligent entrustment can put the owners/officers of a telecom company at risk.

This session will also cover how to find qualified drivers; define a good motor vehicle record and a bad motor vehicle record; the importance of GPS in your autos and how it can drive greater profits; as well as creating incentive plans for employees to lower auto accidents.

All attendees will receive a certificate of participation following the Educational Session.
