Update for Residents9th February 2018Development Access BWe continue to anticipate the toucan crossing being completed in late February. We are still awaiting timings on electrical connections and will be able to update residents in due course once these are confirmed. Development Access A - near Ellis RoadWe anticipate Access A being substantially completed by the 15th February. At this stage we will stop short of completing the tarmac surface which will follow, once the Old Wokingham Road cycle way is completed. Cycleway - Old Wokingham Road to Crowthorne RoundaboutWe will commence construction of the new cycleway on Monday 12th February, from our development along Old Wokingham Road. Once underway, we expect there to be traffic lights in place during working hours, until late spring. Development Access C - north of Hatch RideWe anticipate construction of Access C commencing in late March once the Nine Mill Ride/Old Wokingham Road roundabout is completed. We expect these works to last until early Summer. Sections of these works will require traffic management and we will provide further details in future updates. Nine Mile Ride / Old Wokingham Road RoundaboutThe highway improvements phase of the roundabout works continues with the reinstatement of kerbs. We have a provisional date for resurfacing works of the 19th March. Due to the nature of the resurfacing and the safety of our team, this work will be carried out at night to allow a road closure. We will provide a further update for residents in due course. Housebuilding – Phase 1The construction continues and superstructure build on our show homes is now at 1st floor level and further plots have commenced. Our contractors are now well advanced with the spine road construction and associated infrastructure. Nine Mile Ride / Crowthorne HouseWe continue to work with Bracknell Forest Highways on a suitable timescale to bring the temporary access for Crowthorne House into use. We will provide a further update once the date is agreed. SANGWorks to the SANG continue with the construction of footpaths and top soiling of landscaped areas. Our contractors have also commenced the construction of a number of landscape features, some of which include elements retained or reclaimed from the old TRL site. Safety & SecurityOur site is patrolled by security including support from a canine team. We would however like to take this opportunity to remind residents that whilst all reasonable precautions are taken, building sites can seem exciting to children but they can be dangerous places. We would ask parents to be mindful of children potentially trying to gain access to the site, particularly during holiday times and weekends. The next residents update email will be issued in two weeks. |
