SHARON & CEASY LONGLISTED FOR WEG

Congratulations to WA member, Sharon Jarvis, on being selected for the Para-Equestrian Long List for the FEI World Equestrian Games™ Tryon this September in the USA. Sharon is no stranger to competing at WEG, having won two Bronze medals at WEG Kentucky in 2010. We wish her the best of luck for their final preparations over the coming months.

REMI STUD SCHOLARSHIP

This annual scholarship is awarded to one lucky Young Rider who has the talent and dedication in either Dressage, Showing or Eventing, but needs financial assistance to purchase a horse of their dreams. The scholarship includes the ownership of a purpose-bred Remi Stud Hanoverian weanling by Lauries A plus an extensive support package with a total value of $30,000. FEI WORLD CUP JUMPING COMPETITOR REMINDER

The 2018/2019 Australian League FEI World Cup Jumping season is set to begin on 28 July in Caboolture, Queensland. Competitors wanting to take part in World Cup events are reminded that 1) horses and riders need current FEI registrations and 2) horses need a valid FEI passport document. EWA Show Horse is excited to present the 2018 Show Horse Seminar & Riders Forum. If you are interested in learning more about the sport and what a judge looks for in a successful Show Horse/Hunter, then this is the seminar for you! The Seminar will feature guest speaker Terry Van Heythuysen (VIC) who has been involved with showing horses for many years and has numerous state and national title wins to his credit.

The EWA Show Horse Committee will also be conducting their annual Forum following the Seminar. Riders, judges and event organisers encouraged to attend to discuss the sport.
