PART 2: WEEKS 4 TO 8 WITH DAVID CAMERON
‘No one wants to see you 'acting'. We need to believe your character is truly living in the story: That you are living moment to moment, within the given circumstances. No matter what techniques you use, your 'presence' is essential. My approach to Screen Performance, developed over many years on both sides of the camera will help you relax and focus, and like all great Actors, bring your unique self to every role’ - David Cameron
WEEK 4 and 5: ‘LIVING MOMENT TO MOMENT’ ... Improvised preparation
-
How do I live moment to moment in front of the camera?
-
Who am I when I am simply myself?
-
Am I relaxed and authentic?
WEEK 6 and 7: 'WITHIN THE GIVEN CIRCUMSTANCE’ ... Scene work
-
Every scene contains clues to authentic human behavior. It’s not about the words. The words are clues to your characters behaviour.

Where am I? Who am I talking to? What is my Inner Dialogue? Specific behaviour?
-
Find all the specific circumstances. Find the clues in the text!
WEEK 8: ‘BRING YOURSELF TO THE ROLE’
