3 simple tips to preventing unpleasant odours in your green bin

1. Empty your kitchen caddy or container regularly and wash at least once a week.

2. Store meat and seafood scraps in the freezer until bin night.

3. Put dry garden waste in the bottom of your organics bin. This stops food waste sticking to the base.

Out and about with the Mayor

Brunswick Baths gym is now open 24 hours a day! The extended hours will allow the Baths’ members to access the new gym area from Phoenix Street whenever they want. There is new equipment and an inspiring new workout space.

The Baths also has a new group fitness room and a wellness room, and the indoor pool has been updated to allow for more swimming and aqua aerobics classes. I think the improvements to the whole centre are outstanding and I encourage everyone in the community to come and participate.
