It is becoming increasingly difficult to write the newsletter each week as more and more events are cancelled. Insight SRC surveys - Insight SRC surveys were sent out to a number of families last week. If you received a survey to complete could you please complete the survey before this Friday when the survey period closes. Student Free Day - A reminder that Friday 7th August is a School Closure Day. On this day important electrical work will be undertaken so we cannot have any staff or students on site. Before and After School Care will not be available on this day. Staff will be completing Professional Development so there will be no remote learning on this day. School Board Meeting - Tonight at 6pm we will be holding a School Board Meeting. The meeting will be held via Google Meet. Head Lice - Please keep checking your child’s hair regularly for head lice. We have had reports of a couple of cases. Art Display Cases - A big thank you to Sean Hemeter for making display cases for our students artwork. There are two cabinets outside the artroom and one outside the staffroom. Thank you Sean. COVID Tests - If you or someone in your household has had a COVID test and are awaiting results, we strongly recommend that you keep your children at home until you receive the results. It is up to all of us to play a part in keeping our community safe. Thanks to those parents who have been keeping their unwell children at home. School Photos - School photos will be taken on Wednesday 5th of August. There will be two photographers attending. They will complete our COVID contractor declaration and will be wearing masks and social distancing at all times. Thank You - Thank you to the families who made casseroles/meals for our casserole bank for families in times of need. Thank you also to Scott Embling who popped in to help us with a drilling job. Have a great week, Libby St John's acknowledges the Taungurung People as the traditional custodians of the land on which we work, play and live. Calendar of Events

Have your details changed? - Please let the office know if you have changed your phone number or address. It is important that we have the correct details in case of an emergency. Thanks for your cooperation. School Banking - School banking is back beginning tomorrow and each Wednesday after that. School Banking is a fun, interactive and engaging way to help young Australians learn about money and practice good savings habits. For each weekly deposit made at school, students will receive a Dollarmites token. Once they collect 10 tokens, they can redeem them for a School Banking reward. If your child has previously participated in School Banking, or has an existing Commonwealth Bank Youthsaver account, they can start banking straight away by bringing their Dollarmites deposit wallet to school on Wednesdays. If your child has lost their deposit wallet, please contact your School Banking Co-ordinator kmalloch@sjeuroa.catholic.edu.au or visit any Commonwealth Bank branch for a replacement. If you would like to know more about School Banking, please visit www.commbank.com.au/schoolbanking for a 2020 School Banking program parent guide Modified Lunch Order Menu
