Please read below for background and action required to continue to receive these important Public Health alerts, warnings and urgent notices. Niagara Region Public Health (NRPH) is streamlining our distribution lists for Public Health communications with health care professionals. NRPH truly values relationships with local physicians and primary care providers and wants to ensure that we have your current details and email address on file and included in our new email distribution lists. Background Niagara Region Public Health uses two types of communication to regularly share information with local health care providers.
Over the years, Public Health has established different distribution lists and communication channels to share information. Currently you may receive multiple copies of these communications through email and/or fax. Public Health is now working towards consolidating these lists and working to ensure the information is reaching the intended recipients. Public Health will also be discontinuing the use of fax distribution for medical advisories and memos and will communicate via email only using updated distribution lists. Fax distribution will cease effective October 1. Please note limited fax communication may still continue for certain updates or requests from your office (i.e., influenza vaccine program). Action required
