September 2020

A recovery journey is often filled with questions like: What do I do next?

It can seem overwhelming at times. But for those who choose to live their life without substances, a new four-week recovery group called Comfortably UN-Numb can help start to answer those questions.

Communications, finances, relationships and forgiveness are just a few of the topics the groups will delve into, weekdays at the Umbrella office.

The October group is full, but there is still room in our  November group.

The sessions are free, hosted by group facilitator Justin Bennett, with guest speakers, workshops,  coffee, snacks and supplies provided. We’ll be following social distancing rules, in small groups, due to COVID-19.

To apply, contact out office at 250-380-0595 or email wecanhelp@umbrellasociety.ca

How You Can Help

The practice of Gratitude has incredible positive impacts to our life and existence.

Umbrella is please to offer our newest group, All Things Gratitude. This group is offered on Tuesday evenings via zoom and is facilitated by Dottie Stott.

Gratitude releases us from toxic emotions, changes the direction of our lives through steering us away from negative feelings and thoughts, expands the positive energy to everything we do and those we interact with, and has lasting impacts on our mental health and brain function.

Call or text our office at 250-380-0595 or email us at wecanhelp@umbrellasociety.ca for more information.
