Click here Dear guest, We’re delighted to invite you to the launch of our CommUNIty film – the celebration of seven years of community partnership work through the voices of the people involved. The CommUNity project, our Community Campus Partnership for Health was established in 2013 to promote collaboration and engagement between our university and Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) organisations and the communities they work within Leeds. This ground-breaking initiative from the School of Health & Community Studies aims to find new, more effective ways to improve health and reduce health inequalities in local communities. We work collaboratively across academic disciplines and with community partners, opening up opportunities to share learning and expertise, widen participation in higher education, and to create opportunities for students and research. Join host, Duncan Sharp, Dean of the School of Health & Community Studies to be one of the first to view the film. Hear from speakers including our Vice Chancellor, Professor Peter Slee, CommUNIty project lead, Professor Jane South and filmmaker, Rowena Baldwin, with reflections from some of our local partners. Please feel free to share this invitation with anyone you feel may be interested.
