Wednesday Night Hop condemns the continued police violence against the Black community and we stand with Black Lives Matter.
We are open for weekly in-person dances, lessons on fundamentals, and monthly live music. The progressive lessons are coming back in January. Our events are masked & vaxxed, and we are happy to see you again!
Everything announced is subject to change at any time as we strive to keep our community and ourselves safe and healthy. Don't forget to wash your hands.
Wednesday December 21
8 - 9 pm: Swing Dance Fundamentals Class
9:15 - 11:45 pm: DJ Dance White-Out Party
The event will be masked and vaxxed.
Register online NOW as we won't be taking payment at the door.
We have updated our requirements regarding masks and vaccinations. Please read carefully to make sure it works for you.
Masks:
- We are still requiring masks except when drinking water.
- We are allowing surgical masks, but not cloth masks.
- We still encourage N95 masks and continue to provide them for free at the front desk.
Vaccinations:
- We now accept vaccination QR codes and vaccination cards.
- We will continue to check IDs at the door.
- We are no longer restricting vaccinations to Pfizer and Moderna; as long as the person is fully vaccinated 2 weeks prior to the date of the event.

Swing Dance Fundamentals (8 - 9 pm)
All levels are welcome; no dance experience is needed!
We will explore the essential history and movement for vintage swing dances such as the Lindy Hop, Collegiate Shag, Charleston, and Balboa. Jump-start into partnered dancing and enjoy entry to the social dance afterward to practice your new skills and meet new friends.

DJ Dance White-Out Party (9:15 - 11:45 pm)
The idea behind the WHITE-OUT party is simple: let’s celebrate the snow! And since there’s no snow here, we’ll have to bring the snow ourselves by wearing white clothing. Make sure to wear something WHITE for the dance, take a picture on the dance floor, and celebrate another year coming to an end with the Wednesday Night Hop community!
No partner or experience is required, just show up with comfortable shoes. We would love to dance with you!

Wednesday Night Hop will be closed on Dec 28th for the holiday season.
