CHAMPIONSHIPS WRAP UP

This year the Australian Interschool Championships was held in Sydney at the Sydney International Equestrian Centre (SIEC). This venue was amazing and the arenas were all well prepared to host such a huge number of competitors over the four days. The indoor arena surface withheld such heavy traffic and was rather impressed with how well it stood up to the traffic every day.

ADULT RIDERS

31/10/2019

Orange Grove ARC hosted a fabulous Spring Challenge on October 13th with well over 100 riders attending. There was a great atmosphere for those camping on the Saturday night and this continued on to the Sunday where riders could be heard cheering, offering assistance, providing reassurance and just generally being supportive of each other. That's what ARCA is all about!

Congratulations to Magenup ARG for winning the High Point Club trophy. Dressage Association of WA won the Handicap Club trophy, and their member Didy Massey won High Point Rider of the day. A big well done to the four clubs who entered a team in the Quadrille, which was won by Orange Grove with a massive EIGHT riders in the arena! A fantastic effort! Full results from the ARCA Spring Challenge are published on our website.

Our Challenge events for the year might be over, but the ARCA Committee will continue their work to plan the upcoming AGM (date TBC in December). At the AGM we invite submissions from ARCA affiliated clubs to host Challenges in 2020. If your club is interested, please get in touch so that we can assist you. We will also recognise those riders who attended all three Challenges in 2019 at the AGM. Keep an eye on your inboxes for your invitation!
