Fry P.A.?Last month the Hopworks team headed to Boise for a collaborative brew session with our good pals at
Payette Brewing. We decided to make a beer that represented our two regions in a playful, lighthearted way. We're known for our hops, and Idaho is known for their potatoes, so we knew an IPA was in the works...Idaho Potato Ale, that is! Potato Gun is the resulting beer, created with over 50 pounds of organic Idaho purple potatoes and a load of Amarillo, Crystal, and Zeus hops. The beer will be on tap at Hopworks Urban Brewery and Hopworks BikeBar on Wed. Feb. 18th. We are also throwing a Potato Gun Party at The Civic Taproom in Portland, on Thursday, February 19th. Both breweries will be represented on draft, and you can also look forward to potato menu items and brewery giveaways. The Civic Taproom
