Join us for an exclusive live virtual event featuring volunteers from maritime and aviation No images? Click here Dear supporter, Take to the skies and the sea, all while sitting in the classroom on Thursday 8th July, 9.30-10.30am. Primary schools in your area are exclusively invited to a special multi-school webinar style event hosted by Primary Futures. We will explore jobs in the aviation and maritime sectors through the stories of exciting volunteers, for example a female pilot, on-board catering professionals and cybersecurity specialists working in air safety. A flavour of the enormous range of jobs in maritime and aviation will broaden pupils' horizons, challenge gender stereotypes and motivate them in subject learning in STEM and beyond. Voyage with us this summer term while excursions and enrichment outdoors may be narrowed for your pupils. We'll do all the planning, all you have to do is join. There is no limit on classes joining but overall school spaces are limited. Targeted at KS2 but younger year groups welcome. This event will give you a taster of an interactive virtual session in action so you can plan your own next year. The event will additionally be recorded and repurposed as a video resource with cross-curricular learning activities that will be launched in the autumn term that you can access for free when logged into Primary Futures. You can find other ready-to-use pre-recorded resources featuring fascinating volunteers and how-to guides to plan your own virtual or face-to-face sessions by logging in now. Keep in touch Connect with us on our social media, or via email or phone. We're keen to support you wherever we can. enquiries@inspiringthefuture.org 0207 566 4880 |
