Finalists in the Equestrian Grand Final Announced

Experienced and emerging riders in the Olympic disciplines of dressage, eventing and show jumping will converge on #Adelaide, #South Australia for the fifth staging of the Equestrian Grand Final (#EGF15) when the event takes place as part of the 2015 Australian International Three Day Event (#Aus3de), happening from 19-22 November. Aussies feature in list of finalists for FEI Awards

Ready Set Trot, the junior participation program which is making it easier for more young people to have a go at equestrian sports has been named as a finalist in the prestigious FEI Awards. Also featuring among the list of finalists is Boyd Exell who is up for Reem Acra Best Athlete and Imogen Mercer, the groom of Olympian Sam Griffiths. MORE Facebook Like Button Tweet Button


Outcomes of the 2014/15 EA AGM

The EA Annual General Meeting was held in Sydney on 17 October, bringing together EA’s members, those being the six state branches, for an annual review of the organisation’s operations. View the 2014/15 EA Annual Report

State representatives were presented with a progress report on the organisation’s key achievements, of which some include:

  • EA membership increased to 19,519 members, a rise of 4.40%
  • EA accredited coaches increased to 1,018, a rise of 12.24%
  • 1,609 Ready Set Trot participants for the year, a rise of 16.93%
  • Resigning of an MOU with Pony Club Australia and signing of MOU with Riding for the Disabled Australia
  • Australia was one of only 10 countries to field teams in all disciplines at the 2014 FEI World Equestrian Games where Boyd Exell won back to back individual Driving gold medals
  • All Olympic disciplines now qualified for Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

ADC Performance Medals
