The Greek capital has tested 3 services within RADICAL lifetime: Cycling safety, Augmented Reality and lastly Participatory urbanism.

Santander

With the support of RADICAL, “Smart Santander” installed two innovative services: an Augmented Reality and a Participatory Urbanism service.

Issy-les-Moulineaux

Under RADICAL project, the digital French city has successfully installed two smart city services for the daily use of its citizens : an historical Augmented Reality service and TellMyCity, a Data Journalism application.

Aarhus

In Aarhus, a Cycling safety service was successfully installed ensuring an international press coverage to the Danish City and highliting the innovative character of this RFID technology.

Genoa

RADICAL project allowed the Italian city to set up smart Ecoconsciousness and Carbonfootprint services both aiming at raising awarness on environmental issues.

Region of Cantabria

The Spanish region of Cantabria successfully launched a touristic Augmented Reality service but also a Carbonfootprint service within its territory.

RADICAL, a smart project concluding on a success!

The end of February 2016 meant the official and successful end of RADICAL project. After 3 years of conducting activities, its different partners achieved their targets by developing and implementing RADICAL services and platform but also producing different reflections on Smart cities.

What’s next after RADICAL? Marketing strategy.

In its last stretch, RADICAL partners were highly involved in marketing and commercializing RADICAL services following a vertical marketing system. This strategy aims at allowing the project outputs to be sustainable in a long term.

What’s next after RADICAL? Attract city to innovate.

What if RADICAL pilots and services were example for other cities to take the path of smart city? A work has been done by RADICAL partners for the project’s services to be replicated ensuring a future to RADICAL after its end.

What do the new partners think about RADICAL?

After a successful Open call and an active involvement of SciFY and Fincons, what balance can be made by the last partners to enter in the project?

Both Fincons and Scify have assessed their involvement within RADICAL project from the integration of their smart service in a Pilot to the lessons they learnt by working with us.
