Thank you so much to those of you who gave so generously to the Amos 2015 'Joy To The World' Christmas Appeal.

Thanks to your generosity, we have already raised over £8,000 for the children of Palestine – children like Nadia, Mohammed and Lian, who are all affected by the occupation.

Thank you your gift – it means so much to us and will make a real difference to the lives of the children of Palestine.

You can read their stories by clicking here and continue to donate until the end of January

New for 2016 is Amos' culinary trip – 'A Taste of Palestine' in October where you'll cook, eat and talk about the current situation in the Holy Land.

This trip will be based in the kitchens, restaurants and markets of Bethlehem and Nazareth with time in Jerusalem, Hebron, Nablus and the Sea of Galilee.

You will cook in local homes, delight in traditional dishes and get to grips with issues around the kitchen table. Spend time travelling up through the West Bank, meeting local farmers and hearing about the constraints and difficulties they face on a daily basis.

This trip is run in partnership with our friends at Zaytoun. To register your interest and to find out more information about this trip, please visit our website or email office@amostrust.org

To get your taste buds buzzing, please watch our short film about the up-coming trip.

“Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter.” I Have A Dream, 1963

The third Monday in January is Martin Luther King day in America. At the start of this year, it's good to be reminded of how relevant so much of his teaching and writing is.
