Through EUCanScreen, Ireland has joined partners and institutions from 29 countries to support population screening programmes aligned with Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan. Ireland’s partners, which include the Department of Health, Royal College of Surgeons and the National Screening Service, are contributing to all of the project’s 11 workstreams, including leading, co-leading and contributing to activities. We are also working closely with international partners such as the World Health Organization’s International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC).
