The Rest of Our Non-Labor Day

What's not to like about Labor Day? The school year is only a few hours old, and they declare a holiday! Does it get any better than that? Actually, it does—but that's a matter for another blog. Wikipedia offers this bit of Labor Day history: ". . . the idea of Labor Day was the brainchild of Peter J. If you had your picture taken, you are entitled to a free directory. One directory per family. Beginning Monday, August 27, directories will be available at the PMC office during normal business hours. Directories can be purchased, if you didn't have your picture taken for $5.00, payable in cash or check.
