April Series
Beginners:
6-count Lindy Hop
Come learn Lindy Hop! You'll build the dance from the basics while learning some of the history of this Black American art form.
Fundamentals: Swingout Charleston Variations
Swingouts- the defining move of Lindy Hop. In this class, we'll work on improving how your swingouts feel and give you a whole bunch of partnered variations such as the Texas Tommy and forward swingouts.
Intermediate: California Routine Performance
Come learn the famous California Routine and its fascinating history and then top it all off with a spectacular (optional) performance. You will also learn how to create your own spotlights, so you can enter jam circles with confidence!
Adventure: Recreating Moves from the Greats
Historical records are incredibly important to the swing community. In this class, you will learn ways to break down video clips, apply them to your dancing, and learn about the biases, origins, and limitations of using visual records.
Audition: Partnership Beyond Patterns
What does “show partnership” and “pay attention to your partner” mean? Come find out the answer with us and explore different ways to respond to partners' nuanced connection and see each dance with uniqueness and opportunity!
4/15 - Plant Swap
Bring your plant babies for our annual plant swap!
Our recommendations include: indoor plants, small outdoor plants, plant cuttings, herbs, flowers, and succulents.
No dirt or soil to avoid any messes.
Volunteer
We have volunteering opportunities to help get you into the dance and lessons for free.

Community Fund
Have a little extra money? Help those who cannot afford to take classes or come to dances. Anybody can donate. Anyone can ask to be subsidized.
