NEW RULES & IDENTIFICATION FOR EA REGISTERED STALLIONS
From 1 July it will be compulsory for stallions at EA sanctioned events to wear an EA-branded leather bridle numbers so they can be clearly identified. MORE

EQUESTRIAN AUSTRALIA AWARDS - VOTE NOW
Voting for the Equestrian Australia Awards is now open. This year EA has undergone a format change where voting is opened to all EA members via an online voting portal. There are some very deserving West Australian members up for nomination so make sure you show your support. MORE

DEMO HORSE WANTED
EWA are seeking a horse with a history of gastrointestinal ulcers to be used for a gastroscopy demonstration at an educational seminar with Ascot Vets on the evening of 17 April at the State Equestrian Centre. The horse needs to be quiet and willing to go into a crush and have a gastrointestinal tube inserted. Please email rhiannon.bealey@equestrianwa.org.au if you can help.

VALE EVE MUIR
EWA would like to extend our condolences to Michael, Harry, Angus and Patrick and family on the passing of Eve. Eve has been an active member of EWA for many years as well as successful breeder of performance horses. Her great compassion, humour, and passion for equestrian sports will be sadly missed.

MERINDA MARCH RESIGNS FROM BOARD
It is with regret that the Equestrian Western Australia Board has accepted the resignation of Merinda March. Merinda joined the Board in 2016 and her skills in strategic planning and organisational development have been a valuable asset during a time of transition for EWA. The Board thanks her for her involvement and contribution over the past few years.
