Once‑in‑a‑generation consultation on co‑operative growth launched

Chancellor Rachel Reeves has used her Autumn 2025 Budget statement to launch a once‑in‑a‑generation consultation on how to support co-operative growth.  

The Department for Business and Trade is calling for evidence from co‑operatives, advisors and experts on how to enable start‑up, scale‑up and mutualisation. Our role now is to co‑ordinate and produce a sector response that represents co‑operatives of all kinds and sizes.
