The HISTORY MYSTERY BIKE RIDE is a contest in which participants ride their bikes through the historic Beverly Hills/Morgan Park neighborhood of Chicago following a route that is approximately 8 miles, tracking down “clues” to solve the history mystery puzzle. It's a great traditional Beverly fall family event! Click here for an application.

Uniform Policy

We have received several inquiries about or Uniform Policy. Please note that this policy has had only slight changes from the policy published in previous years. We did listen to parents and teachers who asked for more clarification to better understand what was expected.  We also decided to extend the CPS recommended week long grace period to 5 weeks prior to issuing any consequences. We felt as though this would provide a bit more of an adjustment period for our families who may have needed the clarification. A copy of the Uniform Policy can be accessed from our website by clicking here as well as your child's agenda (2-8). Single copies went home with Kindergarten and 1st grade students on the first day of school.

New Choir Added! Now Barnard Has Two!

Barnard has been able to add one more choir to our program! We will now have a 3-5 choir AND a 6-8 choir. Both will rehearse on Thursdays. Letters went home with the 7th and 8th grade students who were originally informed that we were unable to offer space in the choir for them. We are extremely fortunate to have Mr. Lonnie Norwood as director of both choirs. We are excited about our growing group of songbirds and look forward to their many performances both on and off campus!
