PARED BACK CHIC!
Rebecca James studio create a Parisian style apartment in the heart of Mayfair.
We were commissioned by our clients to completely redesign and refurbish this 4,000 square feet maisonette apartment in a Mayfair Gothic revival building. Up until the mid 90's the property was a commercial office, so most of the period charm had been lost. We had to be creative and resourceful to maximise the potential of the property.
"Our client wanted a timeless home and we were more than happy to indulge. Our vision was to create a contemporary Parisian style apartment with light and airy tones. Reined back luxury, layered with textures, all working together in harmony."
The tireless sourcing by our team was the key ingredient in this project. We included a mixture of established mid 20th century furniture with high street brands, luxury contemporary designers and some up and coming designers to give the property a unique DNA.

MASTER BATHROOMFor the ensuite master bathroom, we used a delicate Verde Panama marble in slabs and mosaic format for the floor. The polished nickel fixtures are all from Waterworks. |
