St John's School Euroa Newsletter Term 4 Week 1 St John's is a Child Safe School where all children are respected and are protected from harm. Principal's Message Dear Parents, Welcome to Term 4. I hope that everyone enjoyed the break away from school and screens. It was lovely to see everyone’s happy faces arrive yesterday morning. I would like to thank the students for their fortitude and resilience over the remote learning periods. It has been a very positive experience, amongst many challenging and difficult times, to work with a school community that includes our students, staff and parents who have proved to be adaptable, understanding and supportive during a time of change and uncertainty. Thank you. Hats - During Term 4, students are required to be wearing their school hat during the day. Please make sure that your child has a St John’s hat and it is clearly named. It is a good idea to encourage your child to leave their hat at school during the week so that it is always available. Zooper Doopers - Parents are able to purchase ten weeks of Zooper Doopers through CDF pay. This offer is only available until Thursday 8th of October. Purchasing ten weeks of Zooper Doopers will save you looking for change on a Friday morning. https://sjeuroa.cdfpay.org.au/MonitorOnline/app/#/login Parent /Teacher Interviews - Although Parent/Teacher interviews were not held at the end of Term 3, parents are encouraged to email or phone their child’s teacher if they have any concerns. School Photos - The date for school photos has changed again! We have been advised that due to current restrictions we will have to wait until a later date to have the photos taken. We will let you know as soon as a date has been confirmed. End of School Day - We will continue to stagger the exiting of students from school each day, so students whose surname begin A-K need to be collected from 3:00-3:10pm and L-Z from 3:10pm onwards. Bus students and students who are not being collected by a parent will be dismissed from 3:15pm. If you are collecting your child from school, please make sure they know which entrance you will collect them from. 2021 Enrolments - We would like to finalise the 2021 enrolments by Friday 16th October. If you know of someone who is hoping to enrol their child, please encourage them to ring or email the school as soon as possible. Temperature Checking - Yesterday we received advice that we are no longer required to temperature check students upon arrival at school. Parents are encouraged to monitor their children daily as any students who present unwell will be sent home.
