Applications are now open for the 2017 Para Equestrian Dressage Squad. Criteria and application form can be found on the Dressage Western Australia website. Applications close Monday 6 February 2017.

EOI FOR CLASSIFICATION OF PARA EQUESTRIAN RIDERS
Are you a Para Equestrian who wants to become classified in 2017? Expressions of interest for classification in Western Australia can be directed to vmayger@bigpond.net.au. Riders must have a measurable physical or visual impairment that satisfies the minimum impairment criteria as detailed in the PE classification manual. MORE

2017 DJTF SEMINARS AND WORKSHOPS
DJTF have some excellent Judge Educators and presenters lined up this year. Once again we will be hosting a fabulous mix of our ‘home grown’ Judge Educators, Eastern States Judges and International Judges. Our list includes Stephen Clarke (UK) Susie Hoevenaars, Ricky Macmillan, Les Smith (Scotland), Andrew Fletcher (UK), Uwe Spenlen (Germany), Wendy Barker, Pollyann Huntington, Ginny Creed and Kim Thomas. We will also continue to work with WA eventing to keep judges updated in this area.

1 February - EA Dressage Rules Workshop: Presenter NOAS JE, FEI PE 3, Wendy Barker (Guest Presenter Andrew Fletcher FEI 4* Eventing Judge/rider tbc). 6.30pm at the SEC.

10/11 February - Para Equestrian Seminar: Presenter Wendy Barker FEI 4*PE, NOAS A level, JE. Reaccreditation seminar. Friday evening 6.30pm to 9.30pm and Saturday morning 8.30am -12.30pm. Venue TBC.

18 February - NOAS Dressage Workshop Uwe Spenlen (Germany). Lateral work – introduction to training and progression to test riding. Requirements at each level. This workshop will be run in conjunction with Perth Dressage Club. Everyone welcome.

Please note that as of 1 January 2017 the numbering of the Para Equestrian Grades will be changed so they are aligned with the FEI Para Equestrian updates for 2017. MORE

JANUARY RIDERS FORUM
Dressage WA will be hosting a Rider's Forum at Horseland Midland on Monday 23 January 2017 at 6:30pm.
With a presentation by Penny Hill Park Stud about their dressage horses, plus updates on the new 2017 rules by steward Janet Reid, every dressage rider should attend. Horseland will also be having an in-store promotion for the evening with 20% off ONE item (excluding Saddles & Samshield helmets, not in conjunction with any other offer)!

DAVID SHOOBRIDGE CLINIC
David Shoobridge is returning to WA on 3-5 February for another clinic. These clinics are always very popular, so get in quick so you don't miss out.
