Register Online for BES Summer Camp 2019 Starting Today!Today is the first day for parents to register your rising PreK4 through sixth grade students for the 2019 BES Summer Camp! This year's camp program promises to be an engaging and exciting learning experience as students join with our BES teachers, alumni counselors, and other familiar faces for 5 weeks of fun! Camp flyers are going home in your students' backpacks today. Camp dates: June 10-14, June 17-21, June 24-28, July 8-12, and July 15-19. Weekly themes include: Sand and Surf, Wild West, Stars and Stripes, Space Out, and Frozen, respectively. Younger students (Rising PreK4-3rd grade) will experience a rotation of amazing offerings each week that include Games, Cooking, Garden Fun, Mad Science, Arts & Crafts, or Fun with Reading. Older students (Rising 3rd-6th grade) may choose ONE selection for the week from offerings like Fencing, FACE4Kids, Mad Science, Cooking, Pottery, Painting, and More! Rising 3rd grade students can choose from either younger or older student tracks. Morning Program runs from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. each day, while the Full Day Program goes from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. and includes additional activities in the afternoon. Students in Full Day Program must bring a sack lunch. The school will provide morning snacks and water. Drop off will be at Hope Hall (walk students in no sooner than 8:45 a.m.) and pick up will be in the McCormick Hall carpool lane at 12:00 p.m. for Morning Program and 3:00 p.m. for Full Day Program. BES Parent Social on Friday, March 8th; Bid Now on Amazing Auction Items!The most exciting event of the year takes place tomorrow as BES parents, friends, and faculty gather for the BES Parent Social and Auction. The event takes place at Queens Harbour Yacht and Country Club on Friday, March 8th from 6-10 p.m. The event includes a gourmet dinner, drinks, and incredible auction items. ChurchChat: St. Paul's by-the-Sea Episcopal ChurchWednesday Nights During Lent from March 13 - April 10 Dialogue as a Spiritual Discipline This is more a how-to program than a forum to discuss hot topics. Participants will receive a packet of materials to be covered in the five weeks so that they can read ahead, although there is no homework and no preparation needed for each week’s discussion. As Christians, we can change the face of dialogue. Come and learn how we can do that as a spiritual discipline in a sacred place. Eagle Arts Fine Arts Camp Offered to BES Students Ages 6+ this SummerEpiscopal School of Jacksonville's Eagle Arts is offering BES students ages 6 and up their Eagle Arts Fine Arts Camp this summer from June 10-21 on the ESJ campus.
