AUSTRALIAN JUNIOR ATHLETES INVITED TO APPLY FOR SPORT AUSTRALIA HALL OF FAME SCHOLARSHIP & MENTORING PROGRAM
Australian junior athletes (U21) are invited to apply for the 2021 Sport Australia Hall of Fame Scholarship & Mentoring Program.
The Sport Australia Hall of Fame (SAHOF) Scholarship and Mentoring Program commenced in 2006. It was born from the desire of our Member's to leave a legacy greater than their sporting achievements alone.
Our Mentors' unique value is their ability to be role models, not just to those looking to follow in their athletic footsteps, but also to the broader community. People from all walks of life can learn from their mindset - using their values of perseverance and commitment to achieve their own life and sporting goals.
The SAHOF Scholarship & Mentoring Program is one of the most elite mentoring programs in Australia, if not the world. Connecting the nation's next generation of talent with the greats of Australian sport and providing unrivaled access to one-on-one mentoring from a SAHOF Member (Tier 1); there is surely no greater way to inspire young Australians to fulfill their potential.
Each Scholarship will apply from selection date until December 31, 2021.

VOLUNTEERS OF THE MONTH
Barb and Geoff Davis | Swan River Dressage Club
This month we say THANK YOU to Barb and Geoff Davis, of Equestrian Western Australia. Thanks Barb and Geoff!
Barb and Geoff Davis have worked tirelessly over the last few years to get Swan River Dressage Club up and running again. Their friendly, down to earth competitions have been meet with great success.
Neither have any family members riding, but they both just have a great love of the sport and helping others.
Barb recently retired as the Club President and Geoff remains on as Treasurer. They have done a lot of work behind the scenes - setting up the ground, organising the arena and fulfilling the needs of administration to run the club itself.
They offer their lovely properly in the Swan Valley to the dressage club for use, on both official completion days and club days; they initially made big changes to their arena to accommodate this.
With their rustic "Australiana" like club house/kitchen, along with their warm and inviting attitudes, they've made the property a really lovely venue and club to visit.
"Myself and many riders are very appreciative of the great work for the dressage club," says Jamie Bawden, rider and member of Dressafe Western Australia.
Thank you Barb and Geoff for being members of this wonderful army of volunteers that contribute so much to our sport.
