SPECIALIZATION SIGJULY NEWSLETTER
Hello and welcome to the Specialization SIG Newsletter! This is the first edition of many to come to keep you up to date on specialization
in sports physical therapy! As a newly formed Special Interest Group, our goals are to provide a platform to exchange information, enhance communication, and offer resources to connect those with an interest or passion for Sports PT. Anyone is welcome to join! The Specialization SIG was created to facilitate communication with and between programs, students, prospective residents, and fellows, current and former residents and fellows, educators, mentors, academics, and clinicians to share best- practices and to enhance post-professional education and practice outcomes in Sports PT. We are interested in hearing from you! Content
is currently being developed to align with what our membership would like to know more about. We will also be sending out surveys for feedback, so please be on the lookout for those. In addition, we have a few projects underway that our
team is very excited about. More details on those to be provided soon. If you would like to get involved, please see the Involvement section below for more details!
We hope you all are safe and healthy!
