COACH OF THE MONTH - MERINDAH THOMSON

"I’m very interested in helping everyone learn how to do the very best they can with their horse. Irrelevant whether it is purpose bred, or off the track, had a big price tag, or a hand-me-down. I want to help with whatever horse you have. There is so much knowledge and so many skills to be gained if you learn to ride and train the horse you have. Any horse can teach you a lot". Merindah Thomson - EA Level 1 General, Level 2 Dressage & Jumping Coach and Coach Educator from Deloraine, Tasmania.

INSPIRING LOUISE HILLMAN

Meet the inspiring EA coach Louise Hillman who travelled from Western Australia with her gelding Lord Louie to compete at the Martin Collins 2017 Australian Dressage Championships in Boneo Park (in the Advanced class). Travelling all this way and competing this week had a special meaning for Louise who was riding with a green rosette in memory of her young student Ali.

"I am here really, to remember that you have to live your dream. No one else can live it for you, you have to do it yourself. You cannot sit and wait for things to be perfect!"
