The national theme, Improving Outcomes, Together, highlights the effort and evidence‑based approaches behind every call and every patient interaction. “Paramedic Services Week recognizes the commitment, professionalism and lifesaving work of our team at Niagara EMS,” said Chief Karen Lutz-Graul. “Every day, they respond to medical emergencies across Niagara, stepping into complex and difficult situations to provide critical care and support when it matters most.” Niagara EMS provides 24/7 emergency medical response, dispatch and communications, Mobile Integrated Health, community paramedicine, specialized community programs, and regional emergency management. These teams work together to save lives and support residents across all 12 municipalities. Celebrating 25 Years of Bike MedicsThis year marks 25 years of the seasonal Niagara EMS Bike Medic Team, which operates each year from Victoria Day weekend through Labour Day in the Niagara Falls tourist district, improving access to timely care at large community events and in crowded environments. “The Bike Medic Team is a great example of how our services are uniquely designed to meet Niagara’s needs. They’re also wonderful ambassadors for our team who are out and about in the community, connecting with people and those who need emergency medical care,” said Chief Lutz‑Graul. Community Highlights
