Martha's MessageDear Parents, I hope everyone had a relaxing Spring Break and spent some wonderful time together as a family. At BES, the faculty and staff are geared up for teaching important concepts these last two months of school as well as getting ready to enjoy some long-standing year-end traditions. For the April "Make a Difference Monday" service project, the BES students are assembling plastic eggs with treats for St. Paul’s by the Sea Episcopal Church's annual Easter Egg Hunt held on Easter Sunday. In May, our "Make a Difference Monday" plan is to collect and assemble items for breakfast bags to be given to Mission House. Breakfast is not a meal that the homeless typically receive there, so it will be a welcome surprise for them. Next Wednesday, April 3rd, Reverend Adam Green and Mrs. Jennifer Ketchum, next year’s interim Head of School from ESJ, will be here for our chapel service at 8:10 a.m. If you get a chance, join us for chapel that morning to greet them. Fondly, Martha Milton Register Online for BES Summer Camp 2019!Register your rising PreK4 through sixth grade students for "The Best Camp at the Beach" at the 2019 BES Summer Camp! ChurchChat: St. Paul's by-the-Sea Episcopal ChurchWednesday Nights During Lent Through April 10 Dialogue as a Spiritual Discipline This is more a how-to program than a forum to discuss hot topics. Participants will receive a packet of materials to be covered in the five weeks so that they can read ahead, although there is no homework and no preparation needed for each week’s discussion. As Christians, we can change the face of dialogue. Come and learn how we can do that as a spiritual discipline in a sacred place.
