Male Breast Cancer Collateral DamagePurpose of this Study:Little is known about the impact breast cancer and its treatments have on men diagnosed with the disease. A research team led by Deanna Attai, MD, at the University of California, Los Angeles, wants to better understand how breast cancer impacts men’s quality of life and the collateral damage they experience from the disease and its treatments. Collateral damage includes the physical, functional, psychological, emotional, social, vocational, and financial affects of a cancer diagnosis. The research team has developed a five-question survey for men who are currently being or have been treated for breast cancer. The five open-ended questions will take about 15 minutes to complete. Participating in this research study is voluntary. The research team will use the responses to develop a comprehensive questionnaire it will distribute to a larger number of men. The results of that questionnaire will be used to develop a set of recommendations to improve the quality of life of men who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. This Study Involves:
