Employers are encouraged to share information on vaccinations and to consider giving workers time off to get their shots to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. Everyone should carry naloxoneCOVID-19 has disproportionately impacted people who use substances Drug supply lines have been disrupted, resulting in increasingly toxic substances entering the street market. Lockdowns and social isolation have presented further challenges for those struggling with substance use and mental health issues, with decreased access to supports. We urge you to carry naloxone. Anyone can carry naloxone for any reason. Currently, over 30 programs and organizations across the Niagara region are enrolled in the Ontario Naloxone Program.
