Since last night, sadly eight residents and a further two staff have returned positive tests for COVID-19. We know residents and families are feeling considerable anxiety at this time and we are communicating regularly with residents, families, our staff and local GPs as new information becomes available. The ACT Haydon team are going above and beyond to ensure our residents remain our top priority as we work through the process of identifying the people impacted. We are working closely with ACT Health as we enact our COVID-19 Outbreak Management Plan, and we appreciate the support from Calvary public and private hospitals staff who have been redirected to Calvary Haydon to replace staff required to self-isolate. We are checking in with those in isolation and supporting them as required. Thank you to our Haydon colleagues for everything they are doing, and thank you for supporting them if you have the opportunity to do so.
