Levi Dear Friends, I’m delighted to invite you to join us for the June 24 premiere of our Bolch Prize Ceremony honoring our 2020 and 2021 prize recipients — Deputy Chief Justice Dikgang Moseneke of South Africa’s Constitutional Court and Chief Justice Margaret Marshall of the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court. Please sign up to receive the video link as we celebrate these two extraordinary judges and defenders of the rule of law. Amid a season of tremendous change, the Bolch Judicial Institute has continued its work in full force. Our Master of Judicial Studies program welcomed 19 new judges for their first semester of study, online for now with the hope that they can come to campus for a short course in the fall. We welcomed two distinguished judges in residence this spring; they visited classes, met with students, and joined me for new episodes of our Judgment Calls podcast. We welcomed North Carolina’s Chief Justice Paul Newby to our Advisory Board. And there’s more! Read below for details on these and many other happenings. Please continue to be engaged with us — join a program online, subscribe to Judicature, follow us on Twitter, visit our new and improved website. With your support, the Bolch Judicial Institute has become a global force for protecting the rule of law and the independence of the judiciary. We are grateful to count you among our friends.
