VALE DAVID MILLS

David was Chairman of EFA WA (EWA) from 1988 to 1992 during this time he oversaw the modernisation of EWA introducing new computer systems and membership management systems. He was also instrumental in the establishment of best practice Sport governance principles. David was a quiet achiever with a very acute sense of humour and was respected by all. As well as being EWA Chairman he was also Chair of Dressage WA and Coaching offering may years of service before becoming EWA Chairman.
While not riding himself his involvement stemmed from supporting his daughters’ Jane and Sarah in their love of horses and their very successful riding carriers. The EWA Board, Members and staff would like to extend our sympathy to Jenny, Jane, Julian and Sarah on their sad loss.

It only takes 5 steps to #SaveTheSEC

Let’s show our them how important the State Equestrian Centre is to our community!

  1. Find your electorate – if you are unsure which electorate you are in, you can find out on the Australian Electoral Commission’s website: https://electorate.aec.gov.au
  2. Get the contact details for your representative here . If you live in the Canning, Hasluck or Pearce electorates, the opposition candidate is also listed.
  3. Email or write to your representative in your own words explaining why the centre is important to you. If you get stuck, click here for an example draft (however original emails will have more impact).
  4. Encourage your friends, family, colleagues or members of any groups you may belong to, to also show their support by sending an email or writing a personal letter to their federal member of parliament.
  5. If you need assistance or would like more information, please contact the Marketing Coordinator at marketing@equestrianwa.org.au
