PINNACLE FOUNDATIONS SPONSORSHIPS

Applications are now open for Pinnacle Foundation Scholarships to help 16-24-year-old Australian LGBT+ students undertaking full-time education at a public or private secondary school (final year) or public institution of higher education in Australia. The scholarship provides $5,000 for the first year of tertiary studies and $3,000 for subsequent years for an athlete competing or training at the national level, or identified as high potential talent in their sport, whilst pursuing full-time study. EOI FOR STEWARDS COURSE

Expressions of interest (EOI) are now being sought for an EA Stewards course with FEI Steward Chris Wallis on 3 November at Capel Pony Club. New candidates and current stewards are welcome. There will also be an opportunity to be mentored at Swan River CIC competition on the 4-5 November. A minimum number of candidates is required to ensure this course goes ahead, so please register with Sara Botten SaraBotten@equestrianwa.org.au.

SEPTEMBER DWA MID-WEEK DRESSAGE

Entries are now open for the September DWA Mid-week Dressage events to be held Indoors at the State Equestrian Centre. Featuring special guest FEI5* Judge Susie Hoevenaars (VIC) on Friday (see schedule for conditions).

  • Thursday 28 at the SEC - Protocol Day
    Book time with a judge to improve your test.
  • Friday 29 at the SEC - Event
    Choose your own tests. Prep to Grand Prix available including Participant and Eventing.

STEPHEN CLARKE RETURNS TO WA

FEI 5* Judge Stephen Clarke is returning to WA in November! Stephen is looking forward to once again working with WA's Dressage community.

  • 11 November at the SEC - Masterclass featuring Freestyle to Music
    Stephen is keen to show how music and choreography can influence the performance of the horse. It promises to be a great night out at the SEC. There will be beautiful horses and top entertainment including a VIP dinner, food vans, bar etc.
  • 12 November at the SEC - Symposium
    This is a must for all Dressage enthusiasts. Stephen will work through the levels with a variety of horses. He will make commentary on test riding and help the rider to make improvements. He will show how the correct training enables the horse to reach its potential. Q&A sessions will be included with a panel of experts.

Riders, coaches, trainers, judges and all dressage lovers come along and get involved. Bookings open soon.
