Martha's MessageDear Parents, Happy New Year! As we enter a very busy time of year with the admissions season, I want you to know that you, the parents, are our biggest advocates for the school. We depend on your recommendations to friends, neighbors, and relatives to keep our school strong. If you know of someone who is interested in the school, we would be happy for you to invite them to our annual Open House/Art’s Night on Wednesday, January 30th from 5:00 .p.m - 7:00 p.m. Your entire family is welcome to tour the campus as we showcase the classrooms and the excellent work that is being done by your children. There is no agenda for the evening as this is just a casual drop-in to visit with the teachers, see the student work, and purchase their beautiful artwork. We welcome all visitors! Thank you so much for your generous support of the BES Starfish Fund. I am thrilled to announce that we raised a total of $109,864 with 67% parent participation. We’d like to give a huge shout out to Ms. Harding’s class for being the only class to reach 100% parent participation. They earned a special treat for their effort! Thank you, too, to first grader Riley Rogers, who contributed $1.00 on behalf of every student in the school, so everyone could enjoy a Free Dress Day on Friday, January 18th. Finally, I just want to personally share how pleased I am that we have an agreement in place to merge BES into ESJ to continue the mutual mission of Episcopal School education. Headmaster of Episcopal School of Jacksonville, Reverend Adam Greene, is coming to our campus to meet with interested parents. There is an opportunity to hear him speak at the Meet & Greet on Monday, February 4th at 6:30 p.m. and on Tuesday, February 5th at 8:15 a.m. Child care is for both presentations with a reservation. We hope you will be able to join us to hear information regarding the transition. Blessings for a prosperous new year! Fondly, BES Offers Corporate Sponsorship Opportunities for 2019-2020Over the years, we have been blessed with tremendous support from a variety of corporate sponsors, and we thank all who have given so generously.
