Internationally celebrated Orava Quartet returns to Sydney for One Night Only

String quartet sensation Orava Quartet brings their youthful passion and unbridled intensity to Sydney Opera House for one unforgettable performance. Branded by Limelight as " the most exciting young quartet on the block’, Orava Quartet will perform 'Czech Fantasy' featuring Haydn’s String Quartet Op.77, Schulhoff’s Five Pieces for String Quartet and Debussy’s sublime String Quartet in G minor.

Sarah Grunstein returns to the glorious Utzon Room on the 29th of October to perform J.S. Bach Goldberg Variations.

The 2018 Sydney International Women's Jazz Festival programme features outstanding overseas jazz artists and an exceptional list of local groups. The headline artist is the exciting vocalist Charenee Wade who will be making her debut Australian appearance to perform her celebrated tribute to the late singer/poet Gil Scott Heron. Registrations for the Sydney Youth Orchestras 2019 Summer School are open until Friday 7 December. In 2019 the Sydney Youth Orchestras will be again running their Summer School program for musicians aged 6 - 18, and  HSC Prep Program for students taking, or intending to take, HSC Music 2. There is no audition for SYO Summer School but advanced students will have the opportunity to audition to join the senior Summer School orchestra, conducted by the incredible Max McBride.
