It is a relief to have everyone back on-site after the last remote learning period, it reminds us how lucky are we to live in a great part of regional Victoria. Lunch Orders - Lunch orders were going to be unavailble tomorrow, however they will now be going ahead as usual. Thank you to Bibby and her team from “Fare Enough” for always providing quality food and an excellent service to our school. We appreciate your support with this and want to remain open. Cold Weather - Now that we are officially in Winter, could parent please make sure that your child brings/wears a named jumper to school each day. We have had a number of students complaining how cold they are at break times, when we go outside. Parent/Teacher Interviews - We are waiting for advice from the Catholic Education Office as to whether we can proceed with face to face Parent/Teacher interviews. If you haven’t booked in for an interview, please take time to do so, just in case we are able to go ahead. School Advisory Council Meeting - Due to the current COVID restrictions, the School Advisory Meeting that was planned for 15th June has been cancelled. Principal Vacancy - Last Monday the application period for the Principal position here at St John’s closed. We hope to find out who the successful applicant is very early next term. Centenary Celebrations - We are turning 100 this year. We are looking for any memorabilia- books, reports, uniforms, photos etc - that we can take a copy of or borrow just for the weekend. Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund (CSEF) - The CSEF helps eligible families to cover the costs of school trips, camps and sporting activities. If you have a valid concession card you may be eligible. Payment this year is $125.00 per student and payments are made directly to the school and credited to your account to go toward camps and excursions for the benefit of your child. If you applied for CSEF for our school last year, you do not need to complete an application form this year, unless there has been a change in your family circumstances. If you would like to apply, please contact Andrea at the office for an application form. Uniform Shop - Sally will be available on Tuesdays & Fridays this year. Orders must still be paid for and ordered online, however if you would like to try sizes or would like any other inforation please contact Sally Kubeil on 0407 904 335 and book a time to see her on those days.
