South Australian Chief Entrepreneur Andrew Nunn is encouraging South Australian business owners to “dream big”, and not incrementally, to achieve their corporate goals. Speaking at a Startup Week event last week, Mr Nunn said an incremental mindset “chew(ed) up” time, while “thinking big” had a positive impact on how an individual approached a task.

Takeaway points from the second course of Data4Lunch

AEDA held its second Data4Lunch event, hosted by KPMG, on 16 November 2022. Black Friday comes to town

Australians are expected to spend $6.2 billion at the Black Friday sales, up $200 million on 2021 figures, according to the Australian Retailers Association. AEDA has made Black Friday even more exciting by offering a bag drop and concierge services to help shoppers move hands free between stores to snap up bargains.

Climate Action Plan 2022-2025

The City of Adelaide (CoA)'s draft Climate Action Plan 2022 – 2025 outlines immediate actions that will build on its previous successes in climate action, develop foundations for the next 10-year strategy, and accelerate its own and community operations. Share your thoughts on the plan with CoA as part of community consultation, which closes on 5:00 pm, Monday 28 November 2022.

Grants to boost performance

The Government of South Australia has launched a new round of See it LIVE vouchers to kick-start the state's summer of music and get people back into pubs, clubs, small bars, restaurants and cafes. Businesses can register for a $400 e-voucher to host live music performances. Registrations close on 16 April 2023.
