Our masking and vaccination policy is enforced at all times during the event. Please read carefully to make sure it works for you.

Masks:

1. We require masks except when drinking water.
2. We encourage N95 masks and provide them for free at the front desk.
3. We allow surgical masks but not cloth masks.

Vaccinations:

1. We accept vaccination QR codes and vaccination cards.
2. We check valid government-issued photo IDs at the door.
3. We are no longer restricting vaccinations to Pfizer and Moderna, as long as the person is fully vaccinated two weeks before the event date.

Newcomer Taster Drop-in Class (8:15-9:15 pm)

All levels are welcome; no dance experience is needed!
We will explore the essential history and movement for vintage swing dances. Jump-start into partnered dancing and enjoy entry to the social dance afterward to practice your new skills and meet new friends.

Dance Party w/ Alpha Rhythm Kings Band (9:15-11:30 pm) 

Established in 2017, the Alpha Rhythm Kings have created quite a stir with music fans, having crafted an exciting, King Size California sound, with what Roots Music Magazine No Depression calls "the badge of authenticity".

The band's top quality musicians, with Robert Dehlinger's “exhilarating” trumpet and "magnetic" singing (Jazz Corner) leading the way, are a favorite with swing dancers, as well as with audiences in nightclubs, festivals and concert halls.

Wednesday Night Hop needs new pictures! Most of our advertising showcases our pre-pandemic, non-masked dancers; we love them, but it doesn't reflect the dance floor we have now. We are inviting local dancer-organizer and professional photographer Aurelia Santos to join us on our live band night on March 29th to take photos of our community dancing the night away! This is a fair warning to dress in your fanciest duds or swingiest styles, if you care about that sort of thing, or stick with the casual flair and dance your heart out! We will have special stickers for people who don't like to be photographed directly, but please be aware that you may still show up indistinctly or in backgrounds. Community Fund Donation

This is a way for dancers who have a little extra money to help those who cannot afford to take classes or come to dances. Anybody can donate, and anyone can ask to be subsidized. Find out details and donate on our website.
