Beckett List

Hello ,

In honour of National Women's History Month (NWHM) we are celebrating the achievements of some of our amazing female graduates. Cyclist Dame Sarah Storey DBE, GB hockey player Sam Quek MBE, and artist Anthea Hamilton are just a few of our graduates who have seen great success.

Find out more about what's going on to celebrate NWHM and International Women's Day on campus in our guide below. We'll also be running films on our Portland Wall screen and the Big Screen in Millenium Square throughout March - so keep an eye out for those.

Vegetables

Hack of the Week

"The society that every student should check out is the SU Allotment Project, where we learn about things such as nutrition, how to plant fruits, vegetables and organise some good events. By doing just 5 hours a week pottering on the vegetable patch I have boosted my self-esteem and mood by dissolving tension, depression, anger and confusion.  I believe it to be very important for the student because this preventative approach could result in substantial savings to some student, particularly in the treatment of health conditions such as mental illness, obesity, cardiovascular disease and loneliness." - Mario Wilson Monteiro Vitoriano, Business & Management BA (Hons)
