Grains of Truth

This is the first in our Eating with Body in Mind series of kitchen workshops on healthy lifestyles with Weavers Way member April Pedrick, who will delve into the mysteries of grains, gluten and more. The next sessions are are "Gut Gardening, the Root of Health" (March 13) and "Fats" (March 27). In the kitchen at Chestnut Hill Friends Meetinghouse, 20 E. Mermaid Lane. Stay Out Late

The Chestnut Hill Business Association is celebrating Girls Night Out, and the Co-op will stay open in Chestnut Hill until 9 p.m. Even better, Weavers Way Next Door will host massage therapist Melissa Clevenger, who will give complimentary chair massages. And the the best part? A portion of the evening’s sales will benefit Meals on Wheels.

Meet Mondragon

The Philadelphia Area Cooperative Alliance invites you to join us for a Co-op Happy Hour at Fergie's, 1214 Sansom St.  We're be hearing from PACA member Caitlin Quigley about her trip to Mondragon, the cooperative mecca in Spain.
