The Fish Finder allows people to search by postcode for retailers and ‘back of boat’ sales selling Australian seafood. The Fish Finder now includes lobsters. This initiative is particularly important as we all work together to assist the Australian lobster industry as they turn to new markets due to the China trade disruption. The Fish Finder platform will support lobster fishers in the domestic market, especially over the Christmas period to reach customers. Whilst the current Fish Finder has some initial retailers included, Seafood Industry Australia is relying on industry to nominate retailers and their boats so they can be added to the platform’s database.
