Neighborhood Nutrition Team Open Hours

The Weavers Way Neighborhood Nutrition Team is IN! Bring your questions and concerns about healthy eating, holiday eating, Weavers Way products or anything related to nutrition and food.

     

    Team members will be at the Ambler store four more times this month, including two $4 Friday Dinner appearances:

    • Tuesday, Dec. 4, 1-3 p.m.
    • Tuesday, Dec. 11, 3-5 p.m.
    • Friday, Dec. 14, and Friday, Dec. 21, 5-7 p.m.

    We encourage everyone to attend a New Member Orientation after joining; you'll earn two Working Member hours for showing up, and also learn all about how the Co-op works and why your membership is valuable.     Let's Talk About Food For All

    Over the next several months, the Co-op will be taking steps to improve Food For All, our discount program for members on assistance (SNAP, Medicaid, TANF, WIC, SSDI, SSI, or Military Disability). If you participate in Food For All, we invite you to participate in an interview or focus group. We'll compensate you for your time with a $10 Co-op gift card. Please contact the Food Justice Committee at foodjustice@weaversway.coop. We value and depend on your input!

    An Introduction to Somatic Experiencing Therapy

    Learn about how you are wired sensorily and how this informs the Somatic Experiencing approach to handling trauma. Practice sensory tracking as a way of noticing familiar emotions and learning to use this information to slow down anxiety.
