We are delighted to announce the appointment of Catherine Spencer as the charity’s new Chief Executive. Catherine will join in July, taking the helm from Commodore Barry Bryant CVO RN, our Director General for the past 17 years. Read more on our website.

Funding to increase and diversify port-based services
Seafarers UK has awarded a £110,000 grant to Mission to Seafarers to increase and diversify port-based services across the UK. The funding will allow an additional 5,000 seafarers to receive support from the Mission each year. Read more.

Grant awarded to support SSAFA’s casework service
Seafarers UK's grant-funding programme has awarded a £10,000 grant to support SSAFA’s (Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association) casework service which provides welfare advice and support to serving personnel, veterans and their families. Read more.

The 24 Peaks Challenge, 6-7 July
Last chance to sign up for our team challenge to hike 24 peaks across 31 miles in 24 hours. The weekend-long event will test and reward you equally, being one of the toughest and empowering corporate events.
