The Department of Business, Enterprise and Innovation have a dedicated website with a range of support services available during these difficult times. The COVID-19 sectoral guidance from the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media provides information on various supports for tourism sectors. Employment Wage Subsidy Scheme (EWSS) The scheme is available for employers who keep staff on their payroll during the pandemic. Employees can be temporarily not working or on reduced hours or reduced pay. Revenue Funding StreamsRevenue posted through their website important information relating to business supports during the pandemic. There is information relating to tax returns, the application of late payment interest, debt enforcement, tax clearance and customs. In addition, the following schemes are in place to support businesses during this time. The continuity scheme combined with the COVID-19 Restrictions Support Scheme will help sustain businesses. Qualifying businesses can apply to Revenue for cash payments, Businesses qualify where government restrictions directly prohibit or restrict customer access to their premises. The Trading Online Voucher is available as a funding stream for those who want to make improvements to their business website or develop the capability to take payments and bookings online this voucher can assist. It is worth €2,500 inclusive of VAT, 50% is covered by the Local Enterprise Office. For this voucher, you need three quotes for the work. Tipperary Local Enterprise OfficeTipperary Local Enterprise Office provides a wide range of supports including training programmes, mentoring services and funding applications to support your businesses. Fáilte Ireland's 'Survive to Thrive' virtual industry event will take place on Monday, 1 February 2021 at 10am. The event will provide an opportunity for us to share plans to help the industry survive the COVID-19 crisis and begin the journey to recovery. Fáilte Ireland Business Support Hub In response to the COVID-19 crisis and the impact it is having on the tourism sector, Fáilte Ireland have an extensive directory of business supports to respond to the most urgent challenges and threats tourism businesses are now facing. All of these supports can be accessed from the link below. Fáilte Ireland has introduced an Employee Wellbeing Programme aimed at supporting employees across all sectors of the hospitality industry during these difficult times. Please have the following information; Commercial Rates WaiverIn order to continue the supports available for enterprise, and in recognition of the impact of the ongoing trajectory of COVID 19, a commercial rates waiver will be applied in the first quarter of 2021 to businesses most seriously affected by restrictions. Enterprise Ireland Enterprise Ireland provides essential supports designed to help businesses stabilize and adapt to the evolving situation. Enterprise Ireland's website has a range of supports to assist your business at this time. The COVID-19 Business Financial Planning Grant will provide a strategic intervention for companies to work with third-party consultants to prepare a detailed financial and business plan with forecasts and assumptions. The offer seeks to encourage companies to be proactive in developing a detailed financial plan that identifies funding needs and potential sources of funding. This new offer will provide grant support to companies of up to €5,000 (100% of expenditure) for an engagement with an approved external consultant.
