Register Now for Final Session of After-school Activities at BESOur final session of after-school activities have been finalized, and we hope many of you will register your students for these exciting offerings below. Please download the flyers and return them completed to the school office or Midge Lilly. Most allow for payment through the FACTS account or check, but refer to each flyer for payment directions. Offerings for Session 3 begin on the week of March 4th. Session 3 (2018-2019) activities and accompanying flyers: BES Summer Camp 2019 Registration Begins Thursday, March 8thStart making plans to register your rising PreK4 through 6th grade students for the 2019 BES Summer Camp! Morning and Full Day Programs will be available over 5 weeks (June 10-14, June 17-21, June 24-28, July 8-12, and July 15-19). Weekly themes include: Sand and Surf, Wild West, Stars and Stripes, Space Out, and Frozen. Online registration begins Thursday, March 8th. We will share the registration link in next week's e-news. Younger students (Rising PreK4-3rd grade) will experience a rotation of amazing offerings like Games, Cooking, Garden Fun, Mad Science, Arts & Crafts, and Fun with Reading. Older students (Rising 3rd-6th grade) may choose one selection from offerings like Fencing, FACE4Kids, Mad Science, Cooking, Pottery, Painting, and More! Rising 3rd grade students can choose from either younger or older student tracks. Morning Program runs from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. each day, while the Full Day Program goes from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. and includes additional activities in the afternoon. Students in Full Day Program must bring a sack lunch. The school will provide morning snacks and water. Drop off will be at Hope Hall (walk students in no sooner than 8:45 a.m.) and pick up will be in the McCormick Hall carpool lane at 12:00 p.m. for Morning Program and 3:00 p.m. for Full Day Program. ChurchChat: St. Paul's by-the-Sea Episcopal ChurchThe Brotherhood of St. Andrew's Annual Shrimp Dinner is Saturday, March 2, 5:30-8:30 p.m. in Stormes Hall. Piano Man, Gene Nordan will provide the entertainment. Prepaid reservations ($20 per person) are required. Reservation forms are available at the McCormick Hall reception desk. Proceeds from this event go toward the Brotherhood’s outreach efforts, international, national, and local. Eat, drink, and be happy, for Lent begins the next Wednesday. Mark your calendar: Shrove Tuesday is March 5th. Tickets will be available soon for a delicious dinner which features a pancake bar and red beans and rice with all the fixins!
